As a China-specific shell inlay technique, mother-of-pearl inlay is a thin slab that is ground into the shape of figures, flowers, birds, and characters with conch shells and sea shells, and is inlaid on the surface of objects. The technique is also used for the mother-of-pearl inlay lipstick tube made of camwood. The shell is made of African Ivory Coast sandalwood and dalbergia melanoxylon, which has a high density and is not easily deformed by corrosion, together with natural shells and resin inlay for a more classical style. Each sandalwood tube is inlaid with a shell in the shape of wild lily, being hand-ground, carved and polished by artisans. This is the language of the brand, which symbolizes the strong and beautiful personality even if one comes from an ordinary background. Each lipstick packaging with its uniqueness presents a special visual effect thanks to the handmade concept, thus enhancing users’ exclusive experience while using it. In addition, the packaging materials are all recycled, including eco-recycled shells, recyclable lipstick tubes and one hundred percent natural lipstick creams, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to promoting the spread of culture, environmental protection and sustainable development.
