When embarking on a design project, myriad factors require careful consideration. Among these are the functionality of the space, the materials to be used, the level of craftsmanship involved, the overall cost, the desired aesthetic, the art style, and the spiritual concept that underpins the design. As society evolves, so do people's preferences for their living spaces. In today's world, the focus has shifted beyond just practicality to encompass a desire for closeness to nature and a prioritization of health and safety. To achieve this, designers often incorporate a significant amount of wood and stone, which can be used to break up the space, allowing the interior to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. This approach imbues the residence with a sense of harmony and tranquility that is hard to replicate.
The designer aimed to create a grand atmosphere for the living room, which is the core area of the home. To achieve this, they used an open layout for the public area, which expanded the space and added a calming atmosphere with dark wood veneer texture. Additionally, the designer incorporated marble and line cutting elements to bring a natural feel to the home, and added dimension and layering to the overall space. For the wall design, the designer utilized a special treatment of the stone grain MEP and steel brushed wood veneer, combined with titanium plating and mirrored elements to present a harmonious spatial picture.
To ensure the safety and well-being of those in the room, we have utilized Minolta boards and stone-plastic panels that meet the standards of the "Healthy Green Building Label.” The high-pressure decorative laminates have been tested for pollutants such as formaldehyde and VOC, ensuring that it is not harmful to human health or the environment. Additionally, the stone-plastic board is easy to clean, slip-resistant, durable, and eco-friendly, providing functionality and aesthetic appeal. This approach not only protects both workers and occupants but also aligns with our commitment to environmental responsibility.
