Tempura ICHIDAI Nakasho is a one-story wooden restaurant specializing in tempura and soba noodles built in the suburbs of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.

The entrance to the restaurant is accessed from the lower part of the arched tower, which also serves as the restaurant's name sign, via the parking lot and a greening path.

The exterior lighting emphasizes the edges of the building and highlights its expression as a formative object.

The interior was designed with two kitchens for frying tempura in the center of the restaurant, with circular counter seating around them, creating an open kitchen with a live atmosphere. They were designed so that the customers and the restaurant can be one, and freshly prepared food can be served. The direction of the customer's line of sight was planned around the chef, and although the seating is on one floor, the design does not feel monotonous.

The restaurant is open to the outside environment by providing many openings in the seating area.
