SHORE OF THE MOON

Shore of the Moon is situated near Gongchen Bridge along the Hangzhou Canal, where both shores of Gongchen have always been centers of splendid culture and livable prosperity. The project design employs multi-dimensional abstract elements to evoke memories of boating scenes, interpreting the contemporary context of the canal, preserving historical memories, and integrating a multidimensional canal space with experiential artistry, embracing the regional cultural ethos to create a demonstration area imbued with Hangzhou-style sentiment.

The entrance hall of the demonstration area features a super-scale ceremonial foyer constructed from 45 screens, ushering in a sense of distinguished ritual as you enter. Stepping into the atrium, visitors are greeted by a gold-accent sculpture, with a sunken water garden unfolding beneath. The Flowing Gold-themed water garden follows the contours of the terraces, harmonizing with the elevation differences between the north and south. Within this water garden, we craft an elegant tableau of "water and moon merging", revitalizing the millennia-old golden history of the Grand Canal. The boating-themed art space is encircled by lush vegetation, with art cabanas resembling boats on a lake. Sailing gracefully on the water, one can engage in discussions and friendships amidst nature. Along the homeward corridor, a series of boat-shaped decks float on the water, guiding countless returnees to their haven. Greenery and shimmering water coexist in harmony, offering a scenic and navigable journey through transitions.
