Vibing Wave

He likes Art Deco, but she likes the wabi-sabi style. This project was inspired by the owner's differences from each other, and the shape of the space and the ceiling full of curves creates soft lights and a home of retirement.

The owner likes natural and soft light. The windows in the living room bring light into the home. The light is shimmering along the arc of the ceiling, increasing the brightness. The night light also flows with the arc, creating a gentle relaxation with the swaying firelight of the fireplace—a great place for a drink. The private area's entrance is hidden in the curved wall, and the bedroom design with arches, curves, and wood combined with carved lines brings together and harmonizes their preferences.

This apartment comprises two kinds of design styles. Color shifts along natural lights, from dark to glow, creating smooth visual changes.

The entrance features a cloakroom in brown color and floor tile in gray, along with a water-shaped chandelier and a wall repeated of an L-shaped design, showing a simple decorative art style to reflect the husband's preference. The dining room is filled with creamy color, and the texture of the wallpaper reflects the warm and unadorned texture of wabi-sabi. The two rounded corners of the TV wall are curved with PATAGONIA tiles, minimum showing the luxury craftsmanship of Art Deco.

The arc curve symbolizes the sparkling artistic conception of the Kaohsiung Port Area. The soft colors and shades eliminate the edges and corners of time, allowing them to slow down and enjoy a leisurely life filled with relaxation and joy.
