The design of the FLOAT series desks draws inspiration from the fluidity and soft elegance of floating clouds, creating an ideal environment for innovative thinking and productive work.
The support base is crafted using plant-based polyurethane foam molded at room temperature, forming a seamless structure that resembles a skirt gently cascading to the ground. By blending aesthetics with structural engineering, the design achieves a large-span cantilevered effect, giving the illusion of a floating desktop. The base is made from renewable materials and manufactured through a low-carbon, zero-VOC foaming process, aligning with sustainable development principles.
An integrated LED light strip enhances both functionality and ambiance, delivering energy-efficient illumination through optimized light output and eco-conscious production, reducing carbon emissions throughout its lifecycle.
The side cabinets feature the same plant-based foam molding technique, achieving a sleek, thin-edged design with hollowed-out curves. The smooth contours eliminate sharp edges for safety while maintaining a natural, organic aesthetic.
A light-diffusing acrylic back panel mimics the soft glow of clouds, enriching the workspace atmosphere. Designed for high light transmission and low energy consumption, the back panel exemplifies eco-friendly lighting innovation.
The desktop uses FSC-certified sustainable wood veneer, meticulously sanded and finished with eco-conscious coatings to preserve the rich, natural texture of black walnut—showcasing premium craftsmanship and environmental responsibility. Paired with a light gray fingerprint-resistant finish, the design delivers a refined, minimalist elegance.
