Heaven In Water has launched a fully upgraded packaging system—from size and format to a fresh visual identity. While retaining the essence of the original design, the new look adopts minimalist linear graphics to capture the elegance and movement of a crane. Generous use of white space allows the viewer’s imagination to fill in the gaps, creating a unique, personal interpretation—much like the idea that “a thousand readers see a thousand Hamlets.” This minimalist approach also provides a calm, uncluttered canvas for presenting essential product information. The move from realistic to minimalist crane imagery reflects both a shift in product strategy and a refinement of brand focus, while preserving visual consistency. In Eastern culture, cranes symbolize nobility, grace, longevity, and harmony, making them a timeless and fitting emblem of the brand’s values. The crane in Heaven In Water embodies the poetic meaning behind the brand's name. The name itself is inspired by a verse from the Zen Buddhist monk Budai: “With a handful of seedlings, I fill the field; Looking down, I see heaven in the water. Only when the six senses are pure is the Way revealed; A step back, in fact, is a step forward.” This line captures a Zen-like state of mindfulness and detachment, suggesting a world beyond physical form—a world focused on the clarity of the heart and mind. This is the emotional atmosphere Heaven In Water aims to create.
