LOUVRE SELECT Showroom, located in the Foshan Louvre International Furniture Expo Center in China, spans 2,500 sqm and is dedicated to creating an imported furniture buying space filled with "SURPRISE." Centered on the core philosophy of "curated craftsmanship, expressive individuality," the project combines scenographic design with a global brand collection to offer young, mid-to-high-end consumers unique home living solutions, conveying the brand's lifestyle philosophy and aesthetic vision.
With a design concept of "transcending geographical boundaries and blending diverse cultures," the showroom brings together European traditional craftsmanship, Eastern refined aesthetics, and North American modern innovation, uncovering the stories and value behind each piece. Through diverse product combinations and personalized services, it caters to consumers' pursuit of a distinctive lifestyle, celebrating the beauty and passion of tasteful living.
Faced with the challenges of an oversized space and structural constraints, the design team centered the layout around a "Central Garden" as the key attraction, crafting an immersive forest ambiance that encourages visitors to shed their commercial reservations and step into an emotionally engaging experience. Surrounding the garden, four themed "BOX" scenarios are arranged: leisure & socializing, art & collectibles, family & pets, and day-tea-night-bar, each designed to spark curiosity through shifting atmospheres. The mixed exhibition zones, meanwhile, employ a dynamic display approach—functional, stylistic, and scene-simulated—to create versatile and distinctive showcases.
To address issues like low ceilings and narrow corridors, the design optimizes the entry flow using architectural language, recessing the entrance to expand public space. Variations in floor elevation, material textures, and lighting create a rich spatial rhythm. Three display modes—exhibition-style, scene-based, and retail-oriented—are integrated to balance brand storytelling and aesthetic impact, ensuring the orderly presentation of thousands of individual items.
By adopting a curated commercial model, the showroom enhances brand value, transforming aesthetic appeal into pricing power through immersive experiences that attract potential buyers and empower differentiated competition. Sustainable design principles allow the space to adapt flexibly to operational needs, enabling continuous functional and thematic innovation.
