The strong emotional connection between the homeowners and Tainan determines the design direction of this project. This project combines the history and culture of Tainan to present the hometown of the owner, using Tainan elements and building materials, and combining the harmony and classical baroque style from Japan colonial time. The space is characterized by the use of local elements. To deliver the warm and emotional atmosphere of the interior space, the whole project uses a lot of penetration and interplay of reality and virtual reality, introducing natural light to fill this living space in the humid and rainy city with the warmth of Southern Taiwan.

For the couple who had been away from their hometown for many years in the bustling and hurried city of Taipei, they longed for a sense of belonging in their living space and expected to feel as if they were in their hometown, surrounded by the strong Tainan atmosphere when they returned home. The designer extracted the classic Tainan elements and combined the authentic elements with the owner and his wife's past living experiences through the design approach, and integrated them into the Taipei home, allowing the space to present the spirit of Tainan in a natural way and introducing window views with the texture of Tainan life, so that no matter where they are, the space can have a different landscape with the spirit of Tainan.

In addition to its translucent nature, the lines and patterns of the window are a reflection of Tainan's decorative aesthetics and living emotions. The iron window is made of stainless steel to meet the rainy and humid climate in Taipei. The iron parts are hand-folded by the ironworkers, who use cutting, bending, twisting, welding and attic welding techniques to create transparent patterns. The iron window pattern in this design uses the repetition and connection of circles to symbolize the unity of family feeling.
