This is an old house renovation project commissioned by the children for their mother. Unlike the old and dark before the renovation, the space is fully paved by a quiet and elegant wood tone. Wooden flooring, solid wood cabinets, white walls, brown curtains, and furnishings are harmonious interplayed, the designer also decorates the space with modeling chandeliers to create a simple atmosphere, so that users can feel the Zen atmosphere as soon as they enter this space. In the project, the designer follows the original base to set cabinets and mirrors to distribute the space harmoniously. In addition, the designer preserves the natural lighting, which demonstrates the concept of sustainable development and energy saving. The designer transforms the old house through the comprehensive planning of spatial reconstruction and the integration of natural conditions. Besides, the designers have improved the durability of the space and reinterpreted sustainability and reconstruction. This project is a house for a mother. The design team reworked the space to create warmth, freshness, simplicity, and tranquility in Japanese style. The team also strives to satisfy all the housing needs of the client in a fresh and elegant space, creating a quiet and comfortable residence.
