This is a heart-warming home for the collector. The project is a special residence because half of it is sunken space. Coincidentally, the owner is a collector. Based on the identity of the owner, we build an immersive collection room with an affordable luxury style. To meet his pursuit, cabinets are everywhere, which are made of local eco-friendly wood. We make full use of the composite space to construct a multi-dimensional space, integrating communication, leisure and other purposes.

In the sunken space, a large showcase is used for the host to display his collections, such as steering wheel, car model, books and so on. The worktable nearby is convenient for studying. In an attempt to make the sunken space enjoyable, the ceiling of the living room is designed in a wavy shape, meanwhile it is decorated with creative chandeliers and rendered with warm colors such as orange and beige. Given that, it is more comfortable for the host to work or share collection stories with his families and friends there.

Above the sunken place, the living room upstairs is simple and delightful, with a bookcase and a desk at the back. Nearby the bookcase, a storage sofa is placed at the corner, where the host can have a drink. And the floor-to-ceiling windows is good for daylight, as time goes by, the curtain and sunlight produce a different, marvelous effect of light and shadow. This wonderful phenomenon just seems like the dreamy feeling of the collector traveling in time via his various collections.

The design of the dining room is in a concise way, creating a pure dining atmosphere. To a sense of quality, the bedroom is furnished with unified orange and beige leather. Glass windows contribute to a bright room. Besides, the utilization has been improved through using storage sofa by the window. Last but not least, the cabinet, embedded in the wall, is for collections of course.
