Foshan LONG CITY

This project is to renovate LONG CITY, a shopping mall in the Nanhai district of Foshan city in southern coastal China. The overall renovation includes the exterior façade, the decorative landscape and the interior space design. Through this process, the mall is expected to attract mid-to-high end consumers aged 20 to 45 years old and have more commercial value to stand out from the neighbouring malls. The mall, though being small, has to meet the needs of business, office and exhibits, and thus it should be designed into a diversified and innovative experience center. It has been divided based on the different themes and functions to leverage the space. The central area is for the catering industry and, while the negative floor is home to commercial activities with an edge of height. Also a cultural and creative block is added on the mezzanine floors, stores for kids & children on levels 2-3 and office areas on levels 4-6. The exterior façade shows ingenuity with a glass curtain wall combined with a futuristic lighting system being the new façade, and the advertising and decorative landscape rendering it more impressive.
