Cloud Mansion

Cloud Mansion is a residential development co-created by four international design firms.

In view of the fact that the south side of the site is adjacent to a new future urban landmark, DC Alliance devises modern public architectural facades to merge the residential buildings with the city. Aluminum panels and large glass curtain wall give rise to the simply yet classic framework. With a minimalist form, the buildings reveal a tranquil atmosphere. Distinct from conventional layout, Ping Gang, the founder of DC Alliance, boldly makes buildings turn 30 degrees. Such creative arrangement provides an open view to landscapes outside and enhances privacy of dwellers to the greatest extent, thus achieving the best fusion among landscapes, buildings and occupants.

With the upgrade philosophy of understated luxury, the landscape design master AECOM devises an exemplary landscape area themed by cloud world, which responds to the spatial spiritual yearning for immersive scene experiences. Taking advantage of partial height difference, AECOM elevates the east side of the residential community, so as to achieve a perfect integration between inner and outer landscapes. This enables dwellers inside the residential community to overlook intoxicating sceneries of Yong’an Canal Park and Qin Mountains.

Simon Chong Design (SCD) and Cheng Chung Design (CCD) work for the common design goal of adding spatial scale and timeless charm. The sales center of the residential development continues modern art unique to the city. Based on the design logic of “nature”, SCD invents comfortable, upscale and artistic spaces, by taking cues from the color palette of nature.

Enjoying 270-degree views, the distinctive large-span living room maximizes interior daylight and also allows for a panoramic view of beautiful sceneries in the residential community and Qin Mountains, hence realizing the vision of “blending landscapes into life”.

Through relentless efforts of the four top design teams, the project realizes perfect integration between interior spaces and buildings, and between buildings and landscapes, portraying a picture of living a leisurely life above clouds.
