COFCO Tianyue

The project is driven by the needs of young customers to create a dynamic social place different from the conventional sales center. Instead of following the traditional plain model, it is committed to building a multi-compound center offering futuristic experience and connecting communities.

Xi'an has rich urban culture and its history of thirteen dynasties has long been its representative. The rich history and culture are ubiquitous in this city. Therefore, the project applies the core of "moon" to its architectural language, as moon represents beauty, reunion and eternity. Its design team uses the clear base color to describe the purity of the moon, making the space tranquil and comfortable, and meanwhile, the team also uses warm red as embellishment to bring vitality to the space. With the design, a beautiful perception of lifestyle is presented in front of the visitors.

The design team uses many architectural design techniques to the project, such as sequence, composition, massing, and virtual and real. Different space and visual changes bring on different experiences. With the method of open scenery and space contrast, the height and spacious of space can be highlighted. The decentralized design technique distinguishes this project from the traditional sales center in space experience. In this project, the interior is generally open but has properly covered space. "Feel the mountain and see different view at every step.” This is the core of the design.

In the sand table area, a suspended moon filled with water art installation is applied. Visitors can only see half of it outside the center and can see the whole picture when entering the center, an installation that successfully triggers visitors’ curiosity. The ceiling made of water ripple stainless can reflects the soft moonlight in all directions, adding tranquility to the space.

The project uses Original IP Joy City moon deer, which is in line with the current trend. It creates a visual representative image for the project by attracting young groups.
