Sanya Sea Travel Duty-free-ole Life Square project

The project is located in Sanya, Hainan Province, which relies on the seaside and has a warm climate. It is a famous tourist city in China and one of the first choice cities for family travel. The design technique uses the stacking of space, not inspired by the blind box, and uses the unique wave elements of the seaside, the rhythm of lines and the interspersing of light.

The design inspiration comes from the popular activity of unpacking blind boxes. As a one-stop shopping experience center, Sanya Sea Travel duty-Free - Ole Life Plaza project is like experiencing the surprise and expectation of unpacking blind boxes for dining and shopping. In the design, space stacking is used to increase the fun of shopping physical examination through the transformation of space overlapping and toy devices.

The ground area of the project adopts shallow rice grey and deep rice grey artificial stone splicing paving, large area of GRG perforated plate is used in the top and the back of the escalator, the packing column adopts the perforated transparent metal plate, the elevator hall of each floor adopts the color of metal plate, and gives each layer a unique color belonging to Sanya.

We designed a logo pattern for this project. The pattern is used in a large area of materials on the top, the back of the escalator and the pillar, so that GRG and metal plates and other materials need to be punched first and then constructed. The triangular pattern with a gradient of large and small covers the whole space, just like snow-white petals flying in the air.

The original building layout is scattered and poor lighting is not suitable for the spatial layout, so it is necessary to integrate the space, improve the utilization rate of the space, and create a new urban attraction around the core central atrium. Add and create memory points of each space, highlight the personality of the project, and deepen the impression in people's mind while shopping.
