Landscape Design for Lushang Jinmao-Jinmao Mansion at the Ly

Jinmao Mansion at the Lyuyou Road, Jinan is surrounded by abundant natural mountain and water resources, so the principal landscape concept of the project is mountain and water garden. Coupled with the cultural veins of Jinan, this design infuses mountain and water as a part of the garden and exhibits a residential landscape with integrated features of artistic aesthetics, functional experience and green ecosystem. First, the mountain, water, forest and court are recombined in various forms by exploiting the height difference of the present shape, and the story behind the mountain and water becomes a part of our life. Second, four trails encircling the garden are sometimes dynamic and sometimes static, sometimes straight and sometimes curved, partly open and partly close, partly real and partly virtual, highlighting the landscape planning technique of modern Chinese gardens. And all components of the whole garden are connected in series by the landscape structure, where two axes link three gardens. The main entrance space is elegant with simple lines which underlines the sense of ritual and order, and further highlights the noble life of mansion. Walking through the hallway, you will see the Landscape Garden Collection, every element of the landscape is built around the court, and the landscape pattern is softened by water curves, to the extent that dynamic and static elements are infused. The trails encompass four seasons of scenery and changes in light and shadow, the streamlined green islands are interspersed, the scenery transits while moving around, as if you were walking in a painting. The Children’s Playground is covered by the space theme where the universe and stars are the main design elements in order to stimulate children's interest and broaden their horizons, until a featured, multi-dimensional and participatory entertainment space is tailored for children.
