Cloud View Stand Cafe is a convenient and quality residential community commercial space built by the client, to enhance the future lifestyle experience of prospective customers. IDODESIGN.CN, which has been committed to customers’ demands and experience and innovative commercial space research, was incited to design this project.

After the preliminary communication and research with the client, the space of this project was defined as the “second living room”. While satisfying the sales support function, it also carries the imagination of the prospective proprietors for the extension of the future living room function. IDODESIGN.CN respects the site and environment above the function, and reconstructs the spatial relationship with the interior architectural approach.

The interior space is mainly for the service bar and the reception area, making full use of the original store floor height and placing three independent white cubes at a certain distance in the mid-air to define the two functional areas in terms of spatial pattern. Through the wooden beams interspersed between the white blocks, the blocks were interconnected to form a visual whole. When night falls, the warm interior lighting illuminates the interior components of the white blocks and wooden beams, creating a unique visual print.

The heavy quality of terrazzo was harmoniously matched with the lightness and transparency of acrylic, which was used in a large area for the service bar and exhibition area. With the warm white color as the base, the frame used wood-like material. IDODESIGN.CN hopes to create a space that make people feel warm and relaxed, which is a community supporting commercial space like the living room at home.
