About The Entry

Imagine walking through a curtain of waves, each one shimmering with different colors and textures. As you move, the waves ripple and sway, creating a dynamic and interactive experience. You feel like you are in a dream, surrounded by beauty and mystery.

This installation, called "Singing Nightingale", is more than just a visual creation. As you passing by the waves, a soft, melodic sound gently fills the air. It's the song of the nightingale, a rare and elusive bird rarely heard in the urban chaos of London. The bird song is captivating, filling you with a sense of wonder and emotion.

"Singing Nightingale" is a tribute to this remarkable creature, a symbol of creativity, love and nature. It encourages you to listen to its voice, appreciate its presence, and connect with its spirit. It reminds us that even amidst the chaos of city life, there is still beauty and harmony to be found.

The installation also celebrates the nightingale's historical significance in poetry, music, art and literature. For centuries, it has been a symbol of love, beauty, creativity and sorrow. Examples of this include John Keats' "Ode to a Nightingale", Hans Christian Andersen's "The Nightingale", Igor Stravinsky's "The Song of the Nightingale", and Oscar Wilde's "The Nightingale and the Rose".

"Singing Nightingale" also highlights the contrast between the nightingale's natural song and the artificial noise of the city. It challenges us to consider our relationship with nature, ourselves and others. It offers a moment of escape, relaxation, and inspiration.
