Shanghai Gangcheng Park Reconstruction

Gangcheng Park is located in Gaoqiao Town, north of the Pudong New Area. It borders the Huangtong Port enterprise yard in the east, adjoins the Gangcheng Road in the south, adjacent to Ougao Road in the west, and reaches the S20 outer ring. The park covers an area of 93,115.59 m2, including 18,073.45 m2 of water areas. It's a public greenbelt with abundant water resources. In 2018, this greenbelt's attribute was promoted into a community park. The greenbelt hasn't undergone large renovations and adjustments in the recent decade. The nature and quality of its greenbelt attribute need effective and pertinent renovation and upgrading. In addition, Gangcheng Road in the south of the park was expanded, considerably influencing the park's entrance region and the fitness service zone.Gangcheng Park is a large community park in the Gaoqiao region. Facilities and functional improvement give full play to the green landscape's characteristic effect and turn the greenbelt into a pro-nature site, providing neighboring residents and tourists with a wonderful place for recreation, body-building, and scenery appreciation.

Gangcheng Park's overall layout is two rings+ two lakes+ nine views. It is designed under the theme of "Flowers on River Bank" and is combined with the park's abundant water resources, aquatic plants, and featured landscape to enhance the water culture characteristic. Eventually, a landscape-featured community park recreation is formed, combining recreation, landscape appreciation, exchanges between neighbors, and other functions.
