Hangzhou Cloud Land

Cloud Land is located at the transition point of the axis from city to nature, with the city to the north and the Xixi Wetland to the south.The planning and architectural design of the project derives the concept of "urban valley" from its metaphorical geographical features, enclosed in a "U" shape.The building and its perimeter symbolize the city, while the "center of the valley" is the "natural living room" in the city.In the transition from city to nature,Cloud Land gathers different groups of people in the city with an open and diverse attitude.It provides a calm sanctuary from the urban environment and transforms the public park into a green space that encourages strolling and interaction.

The relationship between man and nature has changed from "domesticating nature" to "cooperating with nature", and people's understanding and preference for "nature" has gradually shifted from delicacy and artificiality to ecology, white space and sustainable development.

The landscape design of Cloud Land responds to the local habitat ecology and humanities, creating an "enhanced version of nature" environment in the atrium of the valley, strengthening people's cognition of nature, and willing to further explore nature.

Planting mainly adopts native plants, combined with special plant species, constructs a habitat landscape with visual characteristics, and recreates a new memory of the place.
