Dark Chant

This residence has grown from a couple to a cozy family of four in a dozen years, and the original configuration has been unable to meet the needs of use, so the owner expects to have two full children's rooms and add more storage space after renovation.

Each space is redistributed on the plane, and three storage spaces are specially set up to meet the large storage needs. The openness and beauty of the public domain are not affected by the volume of storage, maintaining the fluency of the space, and the boy's room adjacent to living room is separated by a black glass screen to achieve visual extension to each other.

The kitchen has been changed from an open plan to a separate space, with storage space juxtaposed to store food bottles and jars to avoid clutter on the counter. While the living room does not increase the amount of storage, maintains a comfortable sense of space, extends the space through the black glass partition screen at the back of living room, and allows the living room and dining room to open to each other in the moving line. Moreover, the dining room is specially set up with a long table, so that the hospitable host can often entertain friends at home, which is precisely integrated with the living room function, increasing the connection between the two blocks. The use of wood grain, stone, glass, titanium plating and other materials create a dark texture, and give the house a calm and stable atmosphere.

The tone of ceiling is opposite to the ground and facade, where white is the main tone, and the contrast of black line outlines a three-dimensional feeling, and also makes the lamps and lanterns blend into the black line, forming a vision of the ceiling more fresh and clean.
