Combine the traditional Chinese culture 'fishing rope knot' with seafood products packaging. Applying specific rope knots as packaging accessories in the structure, the main packaging abstractly expresses the form of a boat, symbolizing setting sail. In the visual design, the seafood content of the package is illustrated. The final output is a set of series of seafood packaging including box, bag and can.
Zhoushan is an archipelago in China. In the past, when supplies were scarce, fishermen had to help accomplish their sea work by tying hemp ropes into various kinds of knots, which gradually formed the traditional fishing rope knots in Zhoushan. This technique is the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people. Although it has been eliminated by technology now, I still want to pass down this culture through packaging design.
