Bloomberg Hong Kong Office Upgrade

The Collaboration Area design eliminates traditional office environments' rigid and monotonous conventions, providing users with a comfortable and focused workspace. The window area offers abundant natural light and expansive views, so we positioned the work decks here, allowing users to work in an environment filled with natural daylight. Additionally, many green plants are incorporated to create a healthier working environment. There are two independent conferencing spaces, maximising the use of transparent glass instead of solid walls to allow more natural light into the area. Meanwhile, potted plants are placed on the other side of the glass, adding green elements while maintaining an appropriate level of privacy, thus creating a focused and comfortable meeting atmosphere.

We have enhanced the corridor area by designing a vibrant bamboo feature wall, infusing the space with lush greenery and a refreshing ambience. The design was inspired by the significance of bamboo in Chinese culture, symbolizing resilience, flexibility, and growth. This bamboo feature wall not only showcases nature's beauty but also represents the brand's spirit of perseverance and innovation, igniting the motivation and creativity of employees.

By incorporating the feature wall, we have added natural elements and creative concepts to enhance the workspace. The wooden wall creates a cozy atmosphere in the space. With an embedded jellyfish aquarium accompanied by gradient lighting, the gentle and mesmerizing movement of the jellyfish provides a soothing break for users in the pantry, infusing the space with vitality for the adjacent meeting room. The transparent jellyfish aquarium visually connects the meeting room and pantry, enhancing the sense of spatial extension and providing users with a broader perspective. This creates a comfortable and thought-provoking environment that can foster inspiration.
