Located at GATE M on the banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, this retro tennis museum cleverly put the charm of traditional into modern design, presenting an atmosphere of historical solemnity and the vibrancy of tennis.
As you walk into the museum, you are greeted by a majestic arched portico. The stone structure reveals the weight of its history and seems to tell the story of the past. You can see the natural light from the sky lights, which complements the fishbone wood floor beneath your feet when walking through the arched door. And the wood texture seems to give life to the floor, bringing a sense of warmth and elegance. The terracotta tones on the floor and ceiling is reminiscent of classic clay tennis courts, which not only enhances the immersing experience, but also adds a touch of natural and vibrant green to enrich the whole picture.
The Italy sculptures further add the artistic atmosphere to the museum. You can see elegance, solemnity and power in these sculptures with different shapes. Each work is the crystallization of the artist's inspiration. Like a guardian, it makes every visitor feel the spiritual touch and spiritual comfort brought by art while visiting.
In addition, there is a customization area that offers personalized service, allowing each member to create their own tennis equipment according to their personal preferences. A custom-made racket or a custom-made sportswear can reflect the wearer's unique style.
