2024 Pingtung Summer Carnival - Monster Training Camp

In the lush mountains and coastal scenery of Taiwan lies a vibrant realm—Monster Training Camp! This summer, the curatorial team has invited renowned Japanese character designer Hiroshi Yoshii to create three unique original characters: the mischievous pink macaque, Big Ears; the wise shrike, Proud Boy; and the armored pangolin, Armor King. They will accompany you in exploring the fantastical ecosystem of Pingtung, guiding you into a mysterious world.

The curatorial team has also collaborated with Taiwan's interactive media artists to create the largest immersive spherical and infinite mirror experience space in southern Taiwan, designing five magical immersive interactive units. Once you enter this enchanting world, you'll be surrounded by mirror reflections and constantly rotating refractions, as well as an endless array of flickering light sources, making you feel as if you’ve stepped into another wondrous realm! This adventurously captivating visual spectacle will provide you with an unprecedented experience.
