Mindscape Kiosk

As a future information station, Mindscape kiosk combines tangible space and intangible information, together it serve as an information check-in point. The sensations that people perceive at the moment, in the specific place, are transmitted into physical space through the actions of check-ins at Mindscape Kiosk and presented with light and motion in the space.

When these check-in actions accumulate over time, they begin to objectively manifest the collective emotions of a particular area, community, or social group. If we align it with a timeline, it may be related to important events, seasonal changes, cultural customs, and more.

Mindscape Kiosk features a lattice structure made of aluminum pipes embedded with leds and mesh screens. The mesh screens capture environmental information, visualizing light, shadow, wind, rain and dust, enhancing the sensory experience of the local environment. During the daytime, it acts as a check-in collection box, and environmental information is instantly presented as subtle movements on the metal mesh screen. At night, the framework disappears, and the collective emotional state gradually overlays the mesh screens. It becomes a dynamic lightbox that continuously changes based on the information.
