About The Entry

The lighting design of this project seamlessly blends traditional and modern elements, highlighting the unique charm of Shanghai-style (Haipai) culture. The design concept combines traditional artistic aesthetics with modern minimalist style, preserving the depth of traditional culture while infusing a sense of lightness from contemporary design. In the curved arch elements, the use of lighting creates flowing shadows, forming a contrast between the classical and the modern, enhancing spatial layers, dynamics, and the overall artistic atmosphere.

The design utilizes multi-layered lighting to accentuate the distinctiveness of each space. For example, in the elevator hall, linear lighting is used to illuminate the golden textured paint, highlighting the archway; in the social space, a combination of linear light strips and ground recessed lights outline the window edges, creating a harmonious interplay with natural light. The model display area uses track lighting integrated with the ceiling design, allowing for flexibility in showcasing future possibilities.

In terms of innovation, the project employs energy-efficient LED lighting and an intelligent lighting control system, maximizing energy efficiency and enabling dynamic adjustments to reduce energy consumption. The embedded track lights offer flexible configuration to meet different spatial needs, enhancing the adaptability of the space.

Regarding quality and sustainability, durable, recyclable lighting materials are used to reduce resource waste. By optimizing natural light and employing smart controls, the reliance on artificial lighting is minimized, promoting environmental sustainability. The lighting in each area is precisely designed to avoid over-lighting.

Overall, the use of varied lighting techniques creates a “step-by-step scenery,” offering a unique visual experience with delightful surprises in every space.
