About The Entry

Inspired by the myth of “Phaethon’s Ascent,” this project symbolizes a journey of light and personal transformation. Designed as a healing environment for both children and adults, the space uses light as an emotional guide, fostering comfort and self-discovery. A carefully curated palette of coral orange, tender green, and warm amber tones, combined with soft wood textures, creates a soothing atmosphere that encourages reflection and renewal.

Sustainability is central to the design. Eco-friendly melamine board replaces traditional stone, offering scratch-resistant, fireproof, and easy-to-clean surfaces while minimizing environmental impact. The reception desk, set at a child-accessible height of 73 cm, promotes engagement and inclusivity, making young users feel at ease and involved.

Ergonomic learning and play areas cater to school-aged children, while lighting strategies are customized to enhance various activities. As users journey through the space, they experience not only physical comfort but emotional healing, with each design element contributing to a sense of safety, warmth, and growth.
