About The Entry

Shenzhen Qianhai Huafa Ice and Snow World Exhibition Center

As the exhibition center for what will become the world’s largest indoor ski resort, this project explores the future of urban ice culture in southern China through a subtle interplay of light, space, and material.

Guided by the design language of “Ice + Light + Art,” it creates an immersive atmosphere that blends technological expression with cultural narrative. Drawing inspiration from a Chinese explorer’s glacier expedition, the space unfolds through six themed scenes—Snow Cliff, Blue Ice Cave, Ice Sky Light, Ice Spire, Snow Hut, and Snowflake—each offering a quiet yet powerful sensory journey.

Material choices such as GRG and Ice Jade Stone support both the aesthetic and environmental goals of the project, while holographic projections and immersive lighting enhance the overall depth of experience.

Designed with long-term adaptability in mind, the project transitions seamlessly from a cultural showcase to a future commercial venue—offering a thoughtful model for experiential design with lasting value.
