About The Entry

The commercial outdoor landscape renovation of Longfor Times Street AB Pavilion in Chongqing breaks through the visual limitations of traditional commercial spaces. By optimizing roads, implanting greenery, and designing details, it creates a relaxed atmosphere of "strolling in the forest" and strengthens the interaction between commerce and nature. The implementation is carried out in stages, giving priority to solving traffic flow lines, and simultaneously upgrading the facade and infrastructure to ensure the continuous commercial vitality during the renovation. The innovative technology of movable tree pools meets the needs of fire protection and greening. The refined pavement zoning guides the flow of people, and the water features simulate the shape of leaves, taking into account safety and aesthetics. In terms of space function, the accessibility is improved, the outdoor seating experience is enriched, the plant design enhances the scene attraction in multiple dimensions, and the improved tree pool gratings ensure the ecological survival rate. In terms of sustainability, the original structural foundation is retained, and elastic designs such as modular flower boxes are adopted to adapt to future adjustments. Low-intervention pavement and green spaces reduce environmental load. After the renovation, the popularity of the project has significantly recovered, becoming an urban landmark that integrates social attributes and natural experience, and achieving the iterative upgrading of commercial landscape.
