The lighting design of the Meiyuan South Road Bridge

The construction of Meiyuan South Road Bridge consists of a main bridge and approach bridges on both sides. With a total length of approximately 204 meters, a height of 22 meters, and a width of 31.5 meters, it adopts an arch-shaped steel frame cable-stayed structure. Boasting a modern architectural style, it echoes the Foding Palace of Niushou Mountain from a distance, showcasing the integration of historical culture and contemporary vitality, and creating a unique urban landscape in Nanjing.

The project is highly consistent with the planning for the simple and neat style along the Qinhuai River. The bridge itself has become the finishing touch to the regional landscape. When it comes to night scenes, with the main bridge, steel frame cables, and surrounding greenery as carriers, the bridge uses a white tone symbolizing purity and simplicity. It skillfully integrates traffic functions, landscape effects, and aesthetic value, creating a richly layered night view with strong visual impact, thus achieving a harmonious unity of the bridge, water, scenery, people, and the city.

As the lights come on, brilliant illuminations outline the graceful contours of the bridge. This feast of interwoven light and shadow is a profound dialogue between historical context and modern technology. Taking light as its ink, the project writes a new chapter in urban development, bringing warm and vibrant nighttime experiences to citizens and tourists. It has already become a landmark landscape that gathers urban memories and promotes regional development.
