YUEXIU WONDER CITY

Located in Guangzhou, a millennium-old commercial capital, the project covers an area of 13,000 square meters. Its design is rooted in local Lingnan culture, drawing inspiration from the spatial layout of Yuyinshanfang (a renowned Lingnan garden) – characterized by a "front yard and back garden" configuration with central axis symmetry and progressive courtyards. Integrating the rhythm of the Pearl River and the essence of Lingnan intangible cultural heritage, the project creates an immersive spatial experience through the innovative interpretation of local culture and the seamless integration of nature. It evokes deep emotional resonance among residents, while forging a garden-style community where "life and nature coexist".

The design takes the traditional Lingnan "dragon boat racing" culture as its starting point, connecting children's spaces through cultural narratives. It enhances the interactivity and depth of popular science in the space by integrating interactive installations and an intelligent interactive navigation system. By combining culture with daily life, it constructs a contemporary urban lifestyle paradigm where "traditions can be touched, culture can be participated in, and art can be perceived".
