About The Entry

Located in the HuaiShuDian sector of Chenghua District, inside Chengdu’s eastern 2.5th ring, the project sits between urban parks and major commercial hubs. Guided by the poetic notion of “Xin” (first light), it fuses the warmth of jade and the vitality of light to craft an urban salon that blends Oriental cultural spirit, contemporary aesthetics, and visions of future lifestyle. The spatial narrative follows a restrained “discreet luxury · residence-like” tone, sequencing an emotional progression: ceremonial arrival → narrative display → social tasting → mindful retreat.

The entrance zone uses warm dawn-toned lighting and sculpted jade-like volumes to establish a sense of belonging. The sand-table gallery layers mirrors, brass accents, and veined natural stone to choreograph meandering reflections that preview the living atmosphere of the future community. The wine & cigar lounge employs dark timber, brass details, and low color‑temperature illumination to shape a private, identity-rich enclave. The waterside bar introduces nacre sheen, greenery, and diffused soft light to create a women-friendly, contemplative pause.

Two core challenges—materializing the abstract duality of “jade + light” and balancing cultural expression with commercial functionality—are addressed through mood-based scenography and a time-coded light–color rhythm (dawn amber → forest green → night blue). Rather than literal mimicry, “cultural translation” informs the integration of Shu embroidery textures into screens and art installations, while tea culture logic becomes compositional layering and axial order.

The material strategy hinges on contrast and fusion: jade stone as spiritual keynote, brass as an extension of light, dark wood veneer anchoring warmth, with embroidery, shell, leather, and custom textures enriching tactile depth. Modular detailing and phased construction help reduce maintenance and operational cost, culminating in a contemporary Oriental ambience that evokes emotional resonance, memory, and a sense of belonging.
