Shanghai Vanke · URBAN XANADU, situated on Yangtai Road in Baoshan District, Shanghai, is positioned as a low-density stacked villa community.

CTG, centred on the concept of ‘ideal slow living’, blends the warm narrative of vintage charm with contemporary relaxed aesthetics to create a retreat that combines holiday-like relaxation with poetic charm. The spatial aesthetic champions ‘comfort and nature’, employing simple yet understated, soft and low-saturation colours alongside richly textured materials. This infuses the space with artistic charm, embodying a dual dimension of living: ‘both physically comfortable and spiritually poetic, allowing life's essence to settle amidst urban bustle’.

The spatial materials employ rough-textured travertine, burl wood with natural grain patterns, and soft-touch cotton-linen fabrics, creating a multi-layered visual experience. Accented with brass and terracotta vessels, these elements form traces of time's passage under shifting light and shadow.
