Landscape Renewal of Nanjing Yangjiawei Culture Park

The project is situated in the city center of Jiangning, Nanjing, a densely populated city, where is continue to encroach upon available blue and green space. This is why Yangjiawei Cultural Park has become one of the most important public green space along the Qinhuai River, the "mother river" of Nanjing. The location is the intersection of the three waters, where is expected to become the "Vibrant Green Island Complex" in the future. The project has a planning study area of 64 hectares and a landscape engineering design area of 19.6 hectares.

Starting from the three aspects of "water ecology", "water safety" and "water vitality", the project team puts forward the three strategies of "ecological optimisation", "reshaping the shoreline" and "open and sharing", to optimise the blue-green system of Jiangning centre with the park as the anchor point and create a vibrant living room for the city.
