About The Entry

For urban youth who prioritize self-expression and life balance, Kuka imprint presents a hybrid living environment that seamlessly integrates dwelling, entertainment, and social engagement. It redefines the very notion of “home,” demonstrating how limited square footage can yield limitless possibilities.

Guided by a principle of multifunctional integration, the design creates an innovative multi-functional room that is thoughtfully zoned into four distinct areas: a movie lounge, a wine-tasting bar, a collectibles gallery, and an e-gaming station. This configuration allows a single space to serve multiple purposes, maximizing efficiency and adaptability while deepening the occupants’ emotional connection to their surroundings. A standout feature is the collectibles cabinet, which incorporates built-in acrylic light panels. These panels softly illuminate and visually segment the display, transforming each figurine into a curated art piece under their gentle glow. The bar cabinet also exemplifies ingenious design: when closed, it presents a sleek, minimalist form; when opened, it reveals meticulously organized storage for wines and glassware, perfectly balancing aesthetics with utility.

The overall layout masterfully balances functionality with interactivity. The kitchen and dining areas follow an intuitive “wash–prepare–cook” workflow and open directly into the living room, promoting a sense of openness and facilitating connection. The living room features a storage-integrated media wall and acts as a central hub fluidly linking different functional zones. To further enhance adaptability, a modular cabinet system allows for flexible configurations—from accessory displays in the walk-in closet and open garment racks to a dedicated entryway shoe station—creating a living experience that harmonizes activity with tranquility.

Aesthetically, the space is defined by low-saturation warm tones, clean linear forms, and a refined material palette of metal, glass, and textured fabrics, culminating in an ambiance that is both inviting and dynamic. Embodying a “stealth branding” concept, Kuka’s logo is reinterpreted as a unique surface pattern and subtly integrated into hardware details, elevating the brand identity into a tactile, understated design element. This signature motif is echoed in the geometric pattern on the TV cabinet’s back panel, weaving the brand’s DNA into daily life.
