Two Faces

is a residence that presents two contrasting expressions: one towards the street and another towards the private garden. At first glance, the house appears as a compact form, yet it unexpectedly unfolds into a dynamic, flourishing structure on the garden side. The front elevation invites with an accentuating frame and rhythmic divisions, while the open rear façade creates a warm, family-oriented atmosphere. It is designed like the diagonal arrangement of unfolding volumes.

The residence offers 360 m2 of usable area. On the ground floor, the living room, dining room, kitchen and gym are zones extending towards the garden through full-height glazed corners.

The front of the house accommodates functional zones aligned along its façade, such as technical rooms, a guest room, the entrance area and recreational facilities. A double-height living area introduces openness, positive energy and a generous setting for the sculptural floating staircase.

The staircase leads upstairs, revealing striking perspectives both into the interior and outward. At the sides, there are parents’ and children’s zones with terraces access. Along the facade, a gallery is immersed in the play of light and shadow filtered through fixed and tilt-opening glazing segments.

A transparent connector between the front and rear façades forms the core of the building

ensuring seemless continuity between the interior and exterior. The juxtaposition of black and white reflects the dual character of the residence, symbolizing balance and harmony.

The thoughtfully planned desing is supported by eco-friendly technologies, including mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and a rainwater harvesting system. Highest-standard materials with a low carbon footprint, derived largely from recycled sources, enhance sustainability. Exceptional thermal efficiency, achieved through top-grade material parameters, significantly reduces energy consumption. Ceramic blocks provide excellent insulation and enhance overall building performance, while slim aluminum joinery ensures high airtightness and a precise finish, ideal for premium, modern and environmentally conscious construction.
