HUAIAN PHOENIX MANSION

The project continues with the natural landscapes of Huai'an, taking the classic Chinese gardens as its blueprint, integrating artistic conception into the scenery, inheriting the essence of water town gardening, and connecting the entire garden to form a long scroll of a water town. The exhibition area is modeled after the scenes depicted in Song Dynasty paintings, reinterpreting the formation process of Song paintings, extracting elements such as mountain waterfalls, forests, rocks, spatial composition, and painting techniques from Song paintings to create a modern, secluded and luxurious lifestyle.

Using the painting as a guide, and drawing inspiration from Wang Ximeng's "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains," we construct a grand entrance approximately 55 meters wide. The green and blue hues of the painting are integrated into the site, with verdant pines standing tall and sky-blue art sculptures lying in the center of the metal-edged petal-shaped water feature, creating a vast and expansive entrance with mountains and rivers in view. The towering peaks and waterfalls of "Traveling Along the Mountains and Rivers" are translated into the sunken courtyard, with ripples spreading out, depicting a serene and natural scene. The central water garden is modeled after a garden, and the painting scenery of Liu Songnian's "Four Scenic Landscapes" is translated into the courtyard, presenting a three-dimensional landscape that is layered and open.
