Soft Contour Residence

This 98 m² residence was designed for a three-person family, including a mother who works as a piano teacher and requires a quiet, dedicated music room. The main design challenge lay in the shallow depth of the living room and the need to visually expand the public area while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic. To address this, the design adopts soft curved ceiling lines and concealed linear lighting that gently extend the space and soften transitions between the entry, living room, and hallway.

A restrained material palette—microcement walls, warm wood panels, and neutral-toned furnishings—creates visual calmness and continuity. The living room features a concealed ducted air-conditioning system, allowing the ceiling to remain uninterrupted and enhancing the overall sense of spaciousness.

The piano room is tailored for daily teaching, offering balanced lighting and ample storage integrated into white cabinetry. The master bedroom introduces a marble-textured backdrop and soft ambient lighting to create a serene retreat, while the secondary bedroom continues the minimal and calming palette. Complemented by a clear and efficient layout, the entire home balances functionality, visual clarity, and emotional comfort within a compact footprint.
