The Flavor Curation Gift Set is more than a collection of products—it is a “miniature exhibition” crafted for the senses. Set in Shengang, Changhua, Taiwan, the project is co-curated by three distinguished artisans, each deeply rooted in the local culture yet expressing their own unique style. Together, they distill the region’s terroir, cultural essence, and flavor aesthetics into a single box. The narrative is woven through three perspectives: Keya Jam, representing artistic elevation and internationally recognized through their award at the U.K.’s esteemed World’s Original Marmalade Awards; Bruce Coffee, embodying warmth and community connection; and Mama Nyonya, carrying heritage, breadth, and innovative tradition. Their stories interlace to form a distinctive flavor landscape unique to Shengang. By collaborating with local artisans, the project strengthens regional economies and supports sustainable development through the celebration of place-based craftsmanship.
The visual design centers on expressive oil-painting brushstrokes, using rich and textured strokes to depict the cultural and scenic character of Shengang. The main visual focuses on local farmlands, gently integrating the hardworking silhouette of garlic farmers within the composition. In the background, Shengang’s symbolic architecture—the Changhua Environmental Education Center—is featured alongside offshore wind turbines that signify the region’s energetic spirit. The entire packaging functions as a miniature gallery of Shengang, inviting each unboxing experience to become an encounter with the cultural depth and human warmth of Taiwan’s landscape.
