Reframing Order

This residence is home to a family of three, four cats, and one dog. The multi-pet household demands a space that simultaneously accommodates activity, storage, and safety. How to maintain a sense of subtle luxury under high spatial utilization becomes the core design challenge of the project.

The original four-bedroom layout was re-examined and redefined: one bedroom wall was transformed into a semi-open study. Through visual permeability and softened boundaries, the public area is expanded, allowing work, reading, and family interaction to coexist along the same axis — a spatial response to the fluid rhythms of everyday life.

The entryway, serving as the starting point of order, features a dual-sided cabinet that integrates household storage and pet supplies, clearly defining the coexistence between humans and animals. The overall space adopts a refined light-luxury language, combining rose-tinted metallic accents with rational lines and balanced negative space, allowing elegance to emerge from the harmony between materiality and the cadence of living.

Ultimately, the design creates a contemporary home that embraces the complexity of daily life while preserving order and warmth.
