Putian Zhongshan Middle School New Campus Project

The project is located in the northwest of the urban area of Chengdong, Licheng District, Putian City, Fujian, China. It is surrounded by rich historical and cultural landscapes. In the design, the landscape resources around the land are fully explored. With the goal of building an influential firstclass school, the design has a very forward-looking vision and consciousness, highlighting the characteristics and reflecting the cultural atmosphere, leaving enough green space. The facade design focuses on the and promotion of local culture.

The overall planning of the campus is divided into three parts: the office area, the teaching area, and the sports area. Each part is independent interrelated. The main entrance of the school is set on the east side of the land, and the main entrance is set up with a pedestrian plaza for the gathering and dispers of people. The underground parking lot is designed for the carpool system, which is convenient for parents to pick up and deliver students, and the west side faces the reserved tree- road. The school's emergency exit, the land is set up with teaching areas, office areas, and sports activity areas from west to east. The two plots are connected by large platform to form an organic whole.

In terms of building function, a forward-looking design is adopted. The school planning land area is 34016.9 square meters, 54 classes, and the number of students is 2700. The total index of campus land per capita is 12.59 meters per person, which meets the relevant standard specifications, and the land scale is reasonable. In addition to meeting the ordinary classrooms of 54 classes in the school, there are special functional classrooms such as lecture rooms, music classrooms, art classrooms, calligraphy classrooms, and computer classrooms. It is also equipped with an indoor basketball hall and an indoor hall, which is enough to meet the needs of modern quality education.
