The Landmark Foshan

The project is located in the New City District of Foshan, adjacent to the urban central axis. As an emerging CBD area, it is rich in life atmosphere and convenient transportation facilities, in the meanwhile with good urban landscape resources around the site. According to the client’s requirements, it is hoped that this residential complex can be built into a new urban landmark with distinct characteristics.

After a detailed study of the urban space and texture around the site, architects proposed a plane combination form in the shape of a jade ruyi. The project fully utilizes the location advantage and unfolds the volumes with a triangular treatment approach. The design responds to the basic requirement for viewing the river by maximizing the river-viewing facade and softens the square and rigid spatial form of the surrounding buildings with an arc-shaped corner treatment approach. This not only makes the urban interface more vivid and diverse in layers, but makes the building to stand out from the background of the city, unique and distinctive.

Under the condition of limited width along the river, the layout of housing types is carefully arranged to ensure that each household enjoys an excellent river view. The standard floor plan is arranged in a ruyi shape, providing each household with good ventilation and lighting conditions, while avoiding visual interference between households. With meticulous consideration of the high living standards pursued by luxury home residents, in-depth design and repeated deliberation have been carried out in aspects such as the entry experience, room configuration, and flow line layout, resulting in a unique and luxurious living product.
