About The Entry
Riding the wave of urban lifestyles that embrace both nature and trends, FUSION’s fourth-generation park is built around the concept of a “city pocket park,” moving pocket parks directly into cities. The design translates the openness and walkability of city pocket parks and pedestrian pathways into spatial language and draws on city routes, turning the retail store into a space of relaxation and exploration and shopping into Citywalk. This space redefines the connection between commerce and daily life, establishing a new benchmark for FUSION’s future retail ecosystem.
Its layout draws on the spatial logic of city plazas, combining openness and enclosure through a high structural frame at the entrance, well-proportioned central islands, and linear pathways, establishing a clear spatial rhythm. The circulation unfolds as an exploratory journey rather than a straight path. Modular displays and central islands are arranged along the way, encouraging visitors to dwell, observe, and explore. The functional zones follow a “city exploration” logic, translating urban scenes into experiential scenes along the circulation. The journey begins at the entrance lounge, designed as a zone for resting and trying on shoes and extends into a linear display wall for apparel and accessories. A central plaza serves as an island display and a social hub, encouraging customers to dwell. Recessed niche displays highlight key accessories while the checkout and fitting rooms are arranged toward the end of the route. Together, these zones establish a spatial rhythm of strolling, dwelling, and exploring.
Multifunctionality and modularity are highlights. The central plaza integrates product display with social interaction, while modular props can be rearranged to suit various scenarios. Social central islands provide space for rest, trying on products, and interaction, enhancing engagement. The color palette anchored in earthy tones—warm brown, light grey, and cement hue—reflects the understated characteristics of urban architecture. Product color acts as accents, creating a visual balance between calmness and vitality that resonates with the brand’s urban sports identity. A mix of metal, washed stone, and wood introduces material contrast. Paired with detailed recessed displays, it engages senses of sight and touch while creating an inviting atmosphere.
