Based on the core concept of scientific staged development, the teether toy addresses the evolving needs of infants’ oral development. By using silicone of varying hardness, soothing patterns, shapes, and colors, it becomes a perfect “growth companion” that supports babies from the oral phase to the teething phase in a scientific way.

The design team has developed a tiered hardness system—“Shore A 30, Shore A 40, Shore A 50”—based on babies’ oral physiological traits and developmental needs at different stages. The team used shapes such as circles, squares, and triangles for further differentiation: The circular Shore A 30 soft silicone satisfies babies’ oral phase needs at the pre-teething stage. Its 80 mm diameter circular ring is easy for tiny hands to grip and small mouths to chew. The square Shore A 40 silicone massages the emerging front teeth and central incisors while helping babies refine their biting motions at the teething stage. The triangular Shore A 50 silicone with acute angles helps the teether toy reach and massage the emerging molars during the premolar and molar stages, easing swelling in deeper gum areas. Additionally, the surface of the teether toy features linear grooves, small dense bumps, and large dots, offering a variety of massage sensations as babies bite, gnaw, or pull. These textures help relieve teething discomfort by providing different types of stimulation based on how the baby uses the teether toy.

Based on the visual development patterns of infants, the teether toy uses primary colors—red, yellow, and blue—to create a lively visual atmosphere and promote the development of visual neurons in a scientific way. To prevent pigment leakage, the teether toy’s colored core is encased in highly transparent liquid silicone with an optical clarity of over 90%, ensuring vibrant colors and safety while eliminating the risk of choking. The teether toy supports multiple disinfection methods, including boiling, steaming, and UV sterilization, offering comprehensive protection for babies’ oral health and accompanying them through every stage of their growth.
