About The Entry
The designer believes that space could be divided by function; however, life should be continuous and endless. Visions of life should not be shaded but should penetrate through solid objects to have a broader and various view of space. By limiting the limitation, fuse the confusion, and balance perfectly between dynamic and static. The designer sticks to his adherence of spatial flow and scale also interprets his own definition of luxury.
The project located at an upscale district in Taichung, Taiwan. Combined with luxurious material and neat design, designer strikes balance between traditional and modern. Plenty contrast elements were used to highlight the design including transparent and solid, curve and straight, et cetera. From a holistic perspective, identical concepts could be found; and inspect carefully, a verity of exquisite details were found created yet all related to the core of the design, edged but boundless.
As a luxury show flat, Chen-Han reconstructed spatial flow. He also divided the public area into three districts for living, dining and study, but still as one space in view by using the skill of design as well as solid and transparent elements. Mixing the color gold and the element water in modern design, which both implicate “wealth “ in traditional Chinese Feng Shui creates luxury experience for the for high-end and elite clients.
