CICLONE Glassware

CICLONE is a collection of double-walled glassware designed with elegance and ergonomics in mind. Well-suited for hot and cold drinks alike, CICLONE is available in three sizes: 2.5 oz. Demitasse, 6 oz. Tumbler, and 10 oz. Cooler.

CICLONE was conceived as an addition to our GINO collection of double-walled coffee brewing equipment. We observed a trend toward glassware in specialty coffee shops, and saw room for improvement. Hot beverages make most glass vessels too hot to the touch, and the available double-walled designs felt uninspired.

In our studies for the ideal exterior shape, we referenced hand-held objects from candelabras to chess pieces. We sought to create an object with symmetry around an axis of rotation, capturing the decorative intricacy of an object shaped on a lathe or a potter
