About The Entry
This design turns Jackery’s outdoor power station packaging into a reusable family board game, giving the box a second life beyond product delivery. The inner lid features a 99-step journey from home, passing through the living room, grasslands, lakes, forests, mountains, and the ocean. Along the way, illustrated scenes show real Jackery product usage, blending playful adventure with brand storytelling.
All game elements are integrated directly into the packaging. Die-cut circular tokens and a foldable dice allow the box to transform instantly into a complete game without any extra materials. This design maximizes material efficiency while making reuse intuitive and fun.
Special action steps—including moving forward, returning to start, hugging, dancing, or taking photos together—encourage teamwork, interaction, and shared moments. Designed for families and children, the game emphasizes cooperation over competition, turning packaging into a medium for connection, laughter, and memory-making.
By giving packaging a second purpose, this design extends its functional life, reduces waste, and creates a reason to keep the box. What once was a disposable container becomes a keepsake, an activity, and a playful experience that continues to engage users.
This project demonstrates how packaging can go beyond protection to deliver value through reuse, play, and emotional connection. It celebrates circular design principles while reflecting Jackery’s mission of sustainable energy, outdoor exploration, and shared family experiences.
More than a box—it’s a journey that continues.
