About The Entry
CommWell Aero-Core innovatively transforms the role of drones from traditional surveillance or security equipment into public-care products for community symbiosis. Guided by the principle of Community plus Wellness, we focus on addressing low-frequency yet critical daily risks in communities, aiming to establish a security presence that is continuous, perceptible, yet unobtrusive. It emphasizes a sense of care and psychological security over surveillance and control.
The key highlight of the design lies in its modular system strategy: one basic flight platform can be paired with three core functional modules for Daily Guardian, Community Voice, and Quick Check purposes. This enables communities to cover a wide range of needs with minimal resource and cost investment, completely avoiding the resource waste and data silos caused by purchasing multiple specialized models. It is a highly efficient solution tailored for communities with limited budgets and manpower.
Our innovations span multiple dimensions: non-professional user orientation, allowing operation without flight experience; human-centered design, minimizing intrusion through low noise, soft lighting, and directional audio; and system scalability, with the same platform supporting future multi-drone collaboration. Ultimately, CommWell provides not tighter control, but sustained responsiveness and a sense of being cared for. It redefines the value of community safety by empowering communities to operate more calmly and warmly, even with limited resources.
