The landscape design of Central Plains Ode • Kaiyuan is consistently guided by the philosophy of "customization, not replication." Rooted in the inclusive and profound cultural essence of the historic heartland—Jiuzhou in Zhengzhou, Henan—we embraced the multi-level sunken spaces defined in the early planning phase. Innovatively, we drew inspiration from the Qianlong-era Duobaoge (Treasure Cabinet) as a medium to resonate with each intimate space, using the Duobaoge as a vessel to house timeless art within. With a contemporary international aesthetic, we pay tribute to timeless classics, integrating iconic spatial concepts from world-renowned landscape and architectural masters into our site. This transforms the space into a Central Plains Aesthetics Gallery, distilling the essence of artistic eras and the depth of Central Plains culture. It is not only a benchmark project in the region but also a living, breathing cultural ark.
